Maggie Grace may be best known for acting opposite Liam Neeson in the Taken saga. But she just took a big step with her real leading man.
The former Lost actress is preparing to tie the knot with boyfriend Matthew Cooke – having announced their engagement Wednesday in a pair of glamorous photos on Instagram.
"Matthew Cooke & I are so excited to share our engagement with you guys! I could not feel more grateful to share my life with this incredible man," she wrote in one of the captions.
Grace, 31, also quoted the Persian poet Rumi, writing: "The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers do not finally meet somewhere. They are in each other all along."
Grace is seen flashing her ring in one photo; in the other, Cooke is holding her in a dip, as they grin at each other.
It was good timing, too. The couple were already dressed for Global Green USA's 12th Annual pre-Oscar party at the Avalon in Hollywood, so they got photographer friend Byron Atienza to snap a few pics.
"Since we've got the photo thing covered should we just elope?!" Grace wrote.
The couple were extremely affectionate at the Global Green event, staying very close on the red carpet and parting only briefly so Grace could take a few photos on her own.
