The superstar singer plans to tie the knot with hunky actor/model Taylor Kinney. She shared the big news on Monday, after a romantic Valentine's Day proposal.
So who is the new Mr. Lady Gaga?
Kinney is 33. (Gaga is 28.) He's 5-foot-11.
His family: He was born in Lancaster, Penn. His mother was a dental hygienist and his father was a banker. His parents divorced when he was young, and he and his three brothers were brought up by his mother. Taylor dropped out of West Virginia University and moved to Hawaii to work as a carpenter during his junior year. He fell in love with surfing. He also likes to paint.
Where you've seen him: He has appeared on numerous TV shows including CSI: New York, Shameless and Castle and in films including The Other Woman. He played werewolf Mason Lockwood on the CW's Vampire Diairies from 2010 to 2011. In Zero Dark Thirty, he played a U.S. Navy Seal. And, he has played Kelly Severide on NBC's Chicago Fire since 2012. He films the series in Chicago, but lives in Los Angeles.
His love life before Gaga: He had some heartbreaking times in elementary school: "Fourth and fifth grade was pretty rough. I was killin' it back then." And there was this crazy crush: "I also always wanted to hook up with Peggy Bundy from Married With Children. My father watched that show all the time. I didn't understand why Al never wanted to sleep with her. I thought she was beautiful."
He wants to have kids: "I do want to give mom grandchildren, of course," he once said. "I think I'd be a good dad, it would be a pleasure. I'd love it - and I'm in my 30s now." He describes his relationship with Gaga this way: "We're kindred spirits." She says of him: "The way that it really works is, we trust each other. He's on his journey, and I'm on mine, and we're gypsies—and then when we're together we're really in love."
